Our History

Precision Glass is a family run glass installation business celebrating over 20 years of serving Hampton Roads Virginia with auto glass, home window glass or mirror and shower and commercial glass repair and replacement services. Since 1994 we have provided both on-premise and mobile auto, residential and commercial glass services with skilled glass technicians and a fleet of service vans and trucks at our disposal. Herb and Rhonda each possess over 30 years of experience in the glass industry and use this knowledge and experience to present the best options for your custom residential or commercial glass requirement at the best price.

Our Principles

Rhonda St. Martin - the face you will always see when visiting our Yorktown showroom. Rhonda has worked at Precision Glass since 1997 so also possesses almost 30 years of glass experience and knowledge in all aspects of the business. Apart from being the voice that answers the phone, Rhonda also manages individual counter customer care for custom and pre-cut mirrors, glass table tops, cuts and/or accessory sales and orders. She also manages our auto glass shop and schedules our daily mobile auto glass routes throughout Hampton Roads.

Herb Doane - the owner of Precision Glass and usually the face you will see for the project management of your new shower enclosure, residential window glass repair or replacement, and commercial glass storefront or interior build-out project. These projects consist of on-site evaluation and consulting, product selection and ordering, estimating and/or job costing, scheduling, installation and final quality assurance. Herb possesses over 30 years in the glass industry, prides himself on being a great communicator and is fully knowledgable in all aspects of your next home or commercial glass installation requirement.

Our Service Areas

Mobile Auto Glass - our mobile auto glass replacement and rock chip repair services are generally confined to the following Virginia Peninsula cities and counties: Hampton, Newport News, Poquoson, Yorktown - York County, Williamsburg, James City County, and Gloucester Courthouse.

Shower Door Enclosures - We come on-site and competitively bid for all custom or manufactured shower door or enclosure projects anywhere in the Southeast Virginia - Hampton Roads region including the Virginia Peninsula list above and all Southside cities and counties of Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Smithfield, Isle of Wight and Franklin.

Commercial Projects - We come on-site and competitively bid for all commercial glass related projects anywhere in the Southeast Virginia region including all cities and counties on the Virginia Peninsula and Southside Hampton Roads.

Community Involvement

Rhonda has served several years as a Scout Master for Troop 368 and a catalyst for many service-oriented projects through that organization. Precision Glass is also involved with case-by-case community services for churches, schools and several other public and private organizations in York County.
